Things I Love & Learnt About The Monster on Top of The Bed by Alan H Jordan

This is not your regular book for children. This is a wonderful educational and interactive experience for your little ones. The Monster on Top of The Bed takes advantage of the latest technology in pop-up text allowing children to have an interactive journey in a world of monsters and friends 🙂

The book tells the story of a little girl named Suzy, who loved jumping on her bed. All this jumping scared the little critter living under Suzy’s bed…nevertheless, slowly Karrit and Suzy grew to know each other. Karrit is a funny looking critter looking like a monster to Suzy, he has red, scaly legs, and a blue nose. Suzy looks quite scary to Karrit also…she eats “toes of matoes” amd “dogs that are hot”. They kept getting to know each other better until one day they both realized that they didn’t have to be scared of each other…they didn’t not think of each other as monsters anymore 🙂 Suzy and Karrit became best friends…

This book comes with lots of extras…a companion book to challenge the little ones to create their own stories based on the artwork and an .mp4 file that reads the story page-by-page (with page turning sounds) in English (two female performer), Spanish (one male and one female performer); and Italian (Manuela Pentangelo, the illustrator who lives in Italy, performers this story.)

Check it out 🙂
